Garland navigation menu
-
Love the Garland theme because of it’s flexibility.
When I look at the theme in the WordPress Showcase page, it shows child pages in drop-down menus, but I cannot get that to work on my own page.
What am I missing?
Right now I tried to apply a custom menu, and that worked, but still no ‘child pages’ in drop-down?
Isn’t that weird, considering it shows on the showcase page?! http://garlanddemo.wordpress.com/

I tried setting up a custom menu on Garland on my test blog and I could not get dropdowns to child pages either. I assume the theme does not support them. The Theme Team Staff do monitor these threads so I trust they will respond when they can.

No, it didn’t work … neither in custom nor ordinary menu. But it does in the showcase.
Hope they’ll see this. It’s a real snazzy theme :)

Whooah! That worked!!! Great stuff … I had NEVER seen that, about how you could drag them.
Thank you

I’m scratching head and wondering why it did not work for me. Could I have forgotten to click to save the menu? Maybe … shrug :(

It wasn’t to me so I’m looking for rock to crawl under. I must have forgotten to save the menu after I dragged the sub-page over. Anyway. I’m glad Panos solved this for you. Happy blogging. :)

ha ha!
I didn’t know that panaghiotisadam was who he was until I clicked. I’ve admired his work for a few days now.
Happy blogging to you too :)
