Garland theme – colour customizer not saving

  Hi,
  I am using Garland theme.
  a) I am trying to change the colours of my header and it is not getting saved.
  b) My default colours are set to what I had set as my custom colours earlier!
  Can anyone help?

  Please give us a direct link to your blog and your browser and version, please.

  Also, always try this first: clear your browser cache and cookies and do a forced reload. Sometimes that solves things, no idea why. It’s called the Cookie Dance.

  have cleared the Cookies but it is still not working.

  I’m seeing turquoise, blue and lavendar in IE7. Is that what you’re hoping to see?

  I left a post about the same problem. Clearing the cache and reloading don’t solve the problem. I have a “test” blog on here and I tried using the Garland theme on that one too, and was still not able to change the colors. I tried it in IE as well (I normally use Firefox) and that didn’t make a difference either. I sent a notice to support but as yet have not heard from them. I know they’ve had a busy weekend so I’m trying to be patient. I know everyone is swamped. I figured it had something to do with all the dashboard changes, and that they’d fix it as time permitted.

  I think you are right. It might be ‘dashboard’ change problem’.

  I too tried changing themes and reverting back too Garland on test blog. It does not work!

  Patience is the key! yeh!

  @ Designflute – I saw another member having the same problem on a post I left about it too, so we’re not alone. I just noticed it Friday and sent in a ticket on Saturday, but still no word. I’m sure they have other problems they’re trying to fix too, so I’m keeping my fingers crossed we’ll get ours addressed soon. :)

  @ ICT webdesigngirl – mine still isn’t working either. I’m sure tech support is swamped, but if you haven’t sent in a support request, it might be time to do so. Be patient though, if it takes them a while to get back to you. I sent mine in Saturday and still haven’t heard back from them, so they must be really busy still taking care of the new dashboard issues.

  Garland custom colors does not function for me either. Cleared and reloaded Firefox, no difference. Especially frustrating since it’s my first attempt at WordPress!

  @Irinelpetrescu – Don’t leave! WP is the best blogging site out there! You’ve come at a hectic time because WP just made some major changes and there are some bugs still to work out. Please be patient, and I’m sure tech support will have this worked out soon. And welcome to WP!
