garland theme no posts visable!

hi – am relatively new to wordpress. i am using grland theme. however, new posts aren’t automatically visible from the home page. i can see them in the archive straight away but my actual url page is showing ‘no page found’. am sure i am missing something really basic but can anyone help? please look at http://www.labourinwandsworth.wordpress.com to see what i mean! thanks

You probably set a static page as your front then deleted that page. Go to Settings>Reading > “Front page displays”, select “Your latest posts”, click Save Changes.

thank you so much. but when i get to reading i can’t see ‘front page displays’ anywhere??

thanks so much again but i just don’t have the front page displays section in reading. how strange. mine goes straight to ‘blog posts show at most’. so frustrating! could this be the theme i am using? i.e. garland?

Are you logged in as an admin on the blog?
Log out of wordpress, clear your browser cache and cookies, restart your browser and then take another look. Many times that will fix dashboard related issues such as this.
Next step would be to try a different browser and see if the problem persists there as well. That will help us in troubleshooting.

thank you both. i have now resolved – the reason i didnt’ havea choice where to display was because i had deleted all the pages; so have reinstated one page and all working. thanks very much for taking the time to help me out.
