Garland Theme: Sticky post title — change/delete background color?

  Help! I’ve got a sticky post title that shows up with a blue background that disappears when you roll over it & then the title itself turns blue. Alas, I have a brown/burnt orange theme & that blue is really ugly… Can anyone tell me how to change the color, or make that background go away — without having to do CSS coding?

  There’s no way of changing it without the CSS upgrade.

  A sticky post is deliberately set apart this way. Since the text is rather short, then perhaps you could try a text widget instead (placed on top of the others in your left sidebar).
