Gateway – adding author to post overview

I’m wanting to add the author to the post overview, like on the homepage or before you select “more” to see the rest of the post. My sister and I are both going to be blogging on this page and I want to be able to identify who wrote what without needing to open the post

There isn’t a built in way to display the author’s name next to each post on the home page, however, you could create a custom excerpt for each of your posts. The custom excerpt will display on the home page and you could include information about the author of the post in it.
Alternatively, you could insert a more tag at the point of your post where you wish for the “more” link to display and create a custom message. For example, you would insert the following to replace the existing “more” link with a link that read “Read Hayley’s post!”
