Gateway theme

So for gateway theme, I have the call to action button in the header but I need help getting it to go to another page of mine. I replaced the original URL with my “Private Lending” page URL in place and it still doesn’t work. It says “oops this page cannot be found”. I just need help with the call to action button, cause every time I see a tutorial on youtube about call to action, the layout and options for WordPress is totally different so I can’t follow step by step on how to do it. Thinking they changed the themes up?

    Thanks,
    Derek

    Hi Derek,

There are really no steps to follow. The “Call to Action” button has the following form
    <a href="http://example.com" class="button">Button Text</a>
Just replace the sample destination URL, http://example.com, with an existent URL. You’re saying that you did so, and the link failed to work? What’s the URL?

Your “Private Lending” page has the URL https://mellrproperties.com/private-lending/. So the “Call to Action” button HTML code would be as follows:
    <a href="https://mellrproperties.com/private-lending" class="button">Button Text</a>

You may change the button text “Button Text” to “Private Lending,” or whatever you prefer.
