Gateway theme and featured image
-
Hello,
I’m using the Gateway theme, and according to the documentation, the featured image only displays on the homepage, but not sub-pages. (I’m not referring to blog posts.) The documentation is not correct. I’ve tried to use featured images on sub-pages so they’ll show up on shared posts to social media, but not on the page itself. Instead, the featured image appears in the page’s content area, at the top. It completely messes up the layout by shoving everything in the content area down the page. See the screenshot. What is the solution for this?

When we need Staff help with issues Volunteers cannot resolve like this one we type modlook into the sidebar tags on our forum threads. I did that for you. How do I get a Moderator/Staff reply for my question? https://en.support.wordpress.com/getting-help-in-the-forums/#how-do-i-get-a-moderatorstaff-reply-for-my-question

Hi! Are you finding that in this documentation?
https://wordpress.com/theme/gatewayI understand Gateway has an option in Customize > Content Options that lets you determine whether to display the featured images on individual pages and posts.

I should’ve said the documentation is unclear at best. In any case, your solution seems to have worked. Thanks!
