Gateway theme – is there a bug right now?

Hi,
I’m trying to edit some Pages in my Gateway theme-site. Specifically, I’m trying to move one sub-page under a different Top Level page, and that Top Level page is not appearing in my list of choices. (There is a choice that is “loading” at the bottom, but doesn’t actually load.)
Additionally, 2 of the Page Template choices are no longer in English. (Looks like maybe Japanese?) Not sure what’s going on?
This was working fine the last time I touched the site, maybe a week ago…

Hm. That sounds very strange!
There have been some changes that may have caused the issues you noticed but I’m not able to replicate now.
Can you let me know if you’re still see these issues? If so, would you be able to create a screenshot and upload it to your Media Library?
In addition, please try a different browser to your default and let me know if you’re able to replicate there. We can continue troubleshooting from there.

Good morning,
The “non-English” characters are gone (whew!), but the greyed-out option under Parent Page persists. I checked in both Firefox and Chrome. Just uploaded a screen capture to our Media Library.

Whew! I’m glad to hear that. :)
I checked through our system and found some similar reports around translated text in the “template” dropdown menu under “page options.” The issue seems to be inconsistent but I’ve added your report and we are aware/looking into a fix.

I haven’t been able to replicate just yet but will continue to test and report back to the team. In the meantime, is it possible for you to use the search box to find and select a parent page?

Yes, I’ve since been able to use the search box.
It’s possible that it has something to do with being the child of a parent page which has been deleted/moved. I think using the search box seems to be working fine as a workaround, but something definitely seems buggy. Sorry I don’t have more details to help troubleshoot – I’m still new to wordpress!

Hi there!
I’m happy to report that the greyed-out option you spotted under the editor’s “Page Options” module should now be gone. One of our developers dug into and fixed the underlying bug that was causing it.
Can you confirm whether it looks OK on your end now?
