Gateway theme – testimonial

  Hi! I had before Sela theme, which automatically creates a page named “Testimonials” (or any other name you give). Right now I have changed my theme to Gateway and….. testimonials still exist! In dashboard of admin. But I dont understand how the page named “Testimonials” can be created? Right now it is named “Archive: Testimonials”. So, it means, that somewhere exist an archive…. in Pages there is no this page.
  I want to understand how I can manage this page with testimonials: give it a new name, put this page into menu.
  Gateway let me add testimonials one by one into menu…… but not all page with them all together.

  This is existing page of testimonials.

  It was created in Sela and moved into gateway – now with name “Archive: Testimonial”. But there is no such page in my “all pages”. So, where is it? How I can change it?

  Hi there – your automatically generated testimonial archive page can be added to your custom menu by placing this link http://life360around.com/testimonial/ – in the URL field for a Custom Link.

  Looks like you still need to assign your custom menu to your theme – right now it’s not assigned anywhere, so only your default menu is displaying. When you switch themes, custom menus become unassigned from the theme, so that’s probably what happened here.

  Since the testimonial archive is an automatically generated page, it does not appear in All Pages.

  I was thinking about putting just a link to my menu, but…. in this cas the name of the testimonial page will be saved as same – Archive: Testimonials. I dont like this “archive”. it should be just “testimonials”. : ) And I dont understand from where I can manage title for this page…

  as for custom menu, I did it! It is my menu.

  That’s right, I’m afraid there isn’t a way to change the title.
