Gateway theme / widgets

  Hi – I’m trying out Gateway (gorgeous theme) on a practice site (private)
  Before I activate it on http://colderlake.wordpress.com I have two quick questions:

  1. In the customizer, there are only spots for footer widgets. But I notice that your demo and many other blogs that use Gateway have sidebar widgets on post pages. Will I be able to put sidebar widgets on post pages?

  2. Just a bit confused about cropping for the home page header. If I load an image using the customizer, it crops it. I don’t think it’s cropping it to the suggested 2560 × 640 pixels. So does that mean I should create an image 2560 x 640, load it and skip cropping?

  So sorry. Never mind the widget question. I do see the sidebar in the customizer now. Not sure why I was so blind!!

  I have now transferred this wonderful theme to my live blog and absolutely love it. I no longer have a question about the cropping. Thanks anyway, and so appreciate what you’ve done with this theme.
