Gave blog away, but how do I get my contact onto off of it?

  I gave one of my blogs to a friend 2 years ago, but my contact info. is still the primary info. How do I get this site off my admin page without deleting the blog so she can still use it? I can’t shut the whole admin page down because there are 3 other blogs on that page. Every time the domain needs to be mapped, I get the billing request, etc. I want her to get it so I don’t have to bother with it any more.

  WordPress allows users to transfer blogs to other WordPress users. See here: http://en.support.wordpress.com/moving-a-blog/

  If you still have admin access to it, edit the page yourself.

  Hi there,

  Is the blog you gave to your friend the one at cheapskateprincess.com? You’re still the owner of that blog and its domain, but I can help you transfer ownership of the blog and domain to your friend.

  Please confirm that’s the blog and domain you’re referring to, and let me know the WordPress.com username (or email address) of the person you want to transfer ownership to. I can then take care of that so your friend is the one responsible for renewing the domain, and your friend completely owns the site, so you don’t have to deal with it anymore.
