Gazette: Checking 'show author bio' does nothing

As stated in the title, when I check ‘show author bio on single posts’ in Gazette theme, there is absolutely no change on my posts (it should be shown on the sidebar above all widgets). How do I fix this issue? Also, it is not done by widgets, as I’ve already tried them.

What I mean is, there should be an author-info div element in the widget section, as there is in demo page, but it is just not present.

Hi there, I’ve tagged this for Staff attention, however on my test site, once I checked and saved the change to have the author bio appear, it did in the sidebar in single post view.

Hi Mikołaj,
The Gazette theme is set to only display the author info if there is some content filled in for the author bio. To add some info to your bio, you can follow this guide: https://en.support.wordpress.com/manage-my-profile/ – the ‘About Me’ section is what contains your bio. As soon as there is some content in that field, then the author inifo widget will automatically be displayed on your posts as it does in the theme demo.
