Gazette Theme: Can I have just the 6 Featured posts on the front page?

    Hi folks,

    I’ve looked around and haven’t found a way to do this, so I’m turning to the experts.

    I really like the minimalist look of the top 6 featured posts in the Gazette theme.

    However, I would like it even better if older posts don’t show up below that.

    I tried removing the “featured” tag from one of the posts down there, but it’s still showing up. So that’s not how to do it. Maybe.

    Anybody have any advice?

    Thanks,
    Fritz

  • You could hide the posts area on the homepage with some CSS:

    .home .site-content {
      display: none;
    }

    If you did that, there wouldn’t be an easy way for visitors to access older posts, but if you don’t mind that it could be a good workaround.

    You’ll need Custom Design to add CSS, which comes with the Premium or Business plans:
