Gazette theme featured images grey overlay

Hi there!
I need to remove the light grey overlay on the feature images showing in “home”. How can I do that? I’m not a CSS expert, so I’d really appreciate step by step help… thanx a lot :-)The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Gazette’s actually a little sneaky about that overlay – rather than adding a layer on top of the image, it fades the image itself a little so the background can show through :)
Give this CSS a try, and let me know what you think:
.featured-content .post-thumbnail { opacity: 1; } -

It looks like you’re having a different problem than the one this tread was opened for, so it would be better to start a new topic :)
Looks like the posts on your homepage don’t have a Featured Image set on them – adding those should do the trick.
