Hello!
I am currently working on my personal blog using the Gazette Theme.
Just want to ask how can I change the homepage (landing page) using my own created page but the sidebar is not included? :/ It seems like all the pages I custom create already have a sidebar included.
Hope someone could help me out. Thanks!

Hi there,
Can you share the URL of the site you’re working on? The site linked in your post above is using the Meraki theme, not Gazette.
The Gazette theme doesn’t have a full-width option for pages, in other words, pages and single posts always display a sidebar. It’s only the default homepage of the theme, which displays the latest posts, that doesn’t have a sidebar.
But you should be able to use the Widget Visibility option in the Customizer to hide all your widgets on a specific page (i.e. your static homepage), and if there’s no widgets visible in the sidebar, the sidebar should collapse, making the page full-width.

Thanks for your kind response. I figured out that there’s no other way I can remove the sidebar if ever I create my own homepage and I don’t want to explore the coding since it is only a free theme.
I tried removing all the widgets but there is still a sidebar column or the gray line border to indicate that the space is for sidebar. It’s taking a lot on the screen. Just decided to look for a new one (Meraki) which works fine for me now.

Meraki is one of our newest themes, and was designed to take advantage of the site editor in WordPress, which gives you complete control over how your site looks. So that was a good choice.
