Gazette Theme Home Page Appearance
-
When the Home Page hosts your blog posts. There is an option to display featured posts, 6 in total. It appears in an image grid at the top of the page. Magic!
However, there are two black horizontal lines that are part of the design. May I suggest to the Theme Designer/Owner to please remove those two black horizontal lines? It really breaks the design and is not easy on the eye. Gazette is such a great theme and I personally think the design will come across as more professional with no black horizontal lines/spacing at all. The images fused as per the vertical layout, and as advertised in the Theme’s Section in the CMS. No spacing horizontally or vertically on the image grid for featured posts on the Home Page.

Thanks for the suggestion – we’ll pass that along.
If you upgraded your plan to the Premium level, you would gain access to the CSS editor which would allow you to make those adjustments to the theme without needing the theme to be changed for everyone.
If you do upgrade and need some guidance on what CSS to use here, you can reach out to support through your account and they can advise what you’ll need to use: https://wordpress.com/help/contact
I hope that helps!
