Gazette theme – images in 'featured' not centered?

Hello!
In the Gazette Theme, the featured images at the top of the main page doesn´t crop the image correctly – instead of putting the image in the center, it puts it more to the right. Why is that and how do I fix it?
I´ve tried many different resolutions and it´s the same with all of them.Anyone who can help?

Yes, I´ve looked at that info page. And I´ve also looked through all the menus in WP-admin, can´t find any solution.
If you look at the page above, you can see one of the featured post images being just white with a read cross in the middle. I did that to test the issue – it´s a picture with the cross exactly in the middle of the image, and as you can see the croping moves the picture to the right side.
Any solution? :)

It appears that this is simply how the theme works, but I’ll report it to our theme team in case they think it’s worth changing. I can’t make any promises, though.

I see. Kind of strange that it works that way, it means it´s going to be hard to use any image with a clear center (like a portrait) in that theme. Makes it hard to make the images look good if everything is always shifted to the right.

In my experience, what a designer intends with a theme often differs from how people try to use it. But I’ve put reported the issue to our theme team. Let’s wait and see what they say :)
