Gazette theme – linking Featured image/header to specific category

How can I link from Main page’s Featured grid to specific category? Now pressing a featured image / heading in a grid it takes me to a single blog page. I would like to link that to specific category. E.g. Winning strategies ‘featured blog’ to Strategies category, not into that single blog page. Many thanks in advance:)

Hi there,
It’s not possible to get the posts on the home page to link to category pages, rather than individual posts.
As an alternative, you could link to categories in your site’s main navigation. We have guidance on doing that here:
https://en.support.wordpress.com/category-pages/
In addition, a direct link to each post’s category page is given to its upper left on the home page itself.
I’m sorry that that wasn’t the exact answer you were looking for but I hope it helps give you an idea of what is/isn’t possible.
