GDPR

HI, I am wondering if my blog relates to GDPR. It’s been mostly inactive for a couple of years due to my husband’s illness and death, but I’m looking to resurrect it. My first problem is: Over a period of time there have been a number of spam subscribers, and: I don’t know where to find the email addresses of those who’ve subscribed. Could you explain to me where to do that so I can send the GDPR email to them and ALSO, if I do that, how do I know the spam subscribers won’t opt in? Thanks…

    Hi bevmurrill,

There are no sites listed in the account you are contacting us from. Can you send a link to the blog you are referring to?

    Thanks!

This is the site I’m referring to:

    http://bevmurrill.com

  • That site is not hosted with us on WordPress.com, so we have no control over that site. We also cannot advise you on what you do or don’t need to do in order to comply with the requirements of the GDPR, as we are not your attorneys.

To find out where to find the email addresses for your subscribers you’ll need to ask support for whatever subscription plugin or service you are using on that site. We do not have any access to your dashboard, so we have no way of seeing what service or plugin you are using.
