GDPR : I have unpublished articles and comments on my blog

    Hi all,

I don’t want to take any risk of non compliance with GDPR, as WordPress.com doesn’t want to take any risk because as it was written : “we are not your attorneys”.

I don’t have the financial means to pay :
    – a lawyer to advise me, or
    – a fine.

I will published again when I will be sure that my blog will be compliant with GDPR. As I already said, I don’t ask for e-mail addresses when somebody wants to comment articles. But WordPress.com provides me IP addresses of commentators. Today, I don’t have a technical mean to refuse this personal data. If it was the case, I coud say that my blog doesn’t process any personal data, and so doesn’t have to be GDPR compliant.

If WordPress.com wants to save IP addresses of commentators or others personal data, it will be its choice and not mine.

I hope this thread will not be closed as it was the case 4 days ago, so letting a chance to debate.

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Your second thread was close by Staff as it was a duplicate of https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/my-personal-blog-in-wordpress-com-and-gdpr/ where you already got all answers.
To avoid confusion, do not start multiple threads about the same problem.
