GDPR Opt In Checkbox

Hi, I have read all posts and comments on the GDPR topic.
It seems to me that there is a major misunderstanding relating to the check box issue.
The requests for option of placing the opt-in checkbox in the cookie banner can not be written off with the answer you can not give legal advice. Given that this is not a legal issue, it is a technical matter that can be in this case solved by WordPerss.com (or its operator), just as WordPress.org has worked out the appropriate solution.
As we can not install such plugins (my two blogs are on Premium), our legal compliance cannot be ensured by ourselves.
I think letting users install plugins below Business Plan in this case (or cases relating to GDPR) would solve the problem. -

Hi, I opened this topic (volutasa) and logged in to my older account now, so you can see my sites. As you can see, there are only commenting options and registration for new posts. However, checkboxes are necessary. I cannot change the Custom Banner Text to my readers’ native language in the EU Cookie Law Banner widget either, even cannot highlight the text, not that it would help after 25 May…

Hi, As I wrote, my sites are on wp.com :) One of them is gomblyuk.com, premium plan.
As I wrote, the checkbox is not a legal but a technical issue. Please read my opening post here. I do not need legal advice from wp technical support, for the very obvious reason you are not able to give us any. What you can and ought to do is to help us with the technical solution to fulfill the requirements. If you are not able to give technical solution on a problem that site users have limited possibilities to solve on their own, then who? A legal attorney won’t draw me a checkbox in the closed system of wp.com. -
