  Hi
  I’m hearing a lot about privacy policies, cookies and GDPR on blogs and I’m trying to make sure mine is compliant.

  I have checked the policy for WordPress.com and I know that the policy is cc share alike so compiling one shouldn’t be a problem.

  My problem is how exactly to add it to my site. While the information says there’s a widget, I can’t find it. I went on my site to see how a visitor might see it and there is a notice for WordPress that pops up, is that sufficient?

  I’m using a free account and as far as I can see the only info I collect is from comments and the anonymized visitor data.

  Can anyone give me any advice?

  That GDPR was a lot of fuss about nothing. For a simple site or blog, the cookies popup from wordpress.com is al you need.
