General Commerce use?

  This isn’t so much about wordpress dot com as much as it’s a question as to the feasability of using wordpress for a storefront. Does wordpress work well as a commercial store site, or should I just build a site with a normal website builder?

  This free hosting service would not. You need to inquire over at http://wordpress.ORG/support/ which is where self-hosted blogs are supported. With the self-hosted software, far more is available and possible.
