  WordPress is very, very difficult for me to use. There just seems to be so much that it is becoming overwhelming, and I’m considering switching to another platform. I don’t want to, because I have seen some beautiful sites created through WordPress. I’m having trouble customizing my theme (Sydney) and I don’t really know how to write content, how to add my own images, how to add widgets, which ones to add, etc. There simply is so much to do for my business website, and I’m getting lost in the midst of it all. I just want to give up by this point. Please help me.

  Sydney is a theme that can be used only on wordpress.ORG sites.

  That site is not on our WordPress.COM servers. You are posting to the wrong support forum.

  WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and have different username accounts, logins, features, run different versions of some themes with the same names, and have separate support documentation and separate support forums.   This is wordpress.COM support. We provide support only for wordpress.COM hosted sites. Our support docs do not apply to
  (1) local installs of wordpress.ORG software on your own server or
  (2) wordpress.ORG software installs on paid hosting, and we do not provide support for them at wordpress.COM.
  (3) sites linked to wordpress.COM accounts with the Jetpack plugin so they display on the My Sites wordpress.com account page.
