General Help

Trying to write an autobiography and blog related to overcoming challenges in life based on a Christian and self determination basis. Never done anything like this and need guidance as to what is best option (program) to use. Write book or blog first, How to select theme, etc. Am 67 but feel I can do tis and help others. Maybe even use as a side income. Not too computer savvy but can follow directions pretty good. Already have a domain with Siteground. Do I keep with them or transfer with you? Just need some basics to start and every little bit will help. Want it to be easy and lighthearted but serious enough to make a difference for others. Your advise, ideas are greatly appreciated.. Do I use member sign in or my domain name Please email me and if you need to talk to me, give me a phone number I can reach you at since you advice to not provide personal info. and would like to begin ASAP. Again, thanks and looking forward to hearing from you. Was recommended as the best company to do this with. Was advised to look at all the YouTube videos but there are hundreds of them and feel they may create more confusion than enlightment.

Hi @mmarlowe851, congrats on getting started! I’m sure you can do this. The most important way to get started is to start posting, and you can do that by clicking the “Write” button in the upper right.
We don’t have a call center, but our upgraded plans include direct support.

Oh, to address your question about the domain that’s with Siteground, you’d be welcome to transfer it in. Our paid upgrades include a domain transfer and we can help with that, or you can map the domain here. I’m sure that sounds like a lot of jargon right now, though, so for now just focus on whether you want to use your custom domain here. If you do, buy an upgraded plan, and get in touch with support directly, and we’ll help you sort out what to do.
