  Hi

  is there any way in which you can build a website without using themes I kinda know what I want layout wise but don’t like the themes that it keeps making have

  It is likely that you would want to have at least a skeleton of a theme. If you build your own or pay someone else to build it, your theme can be as minimal as you like far as styling and layout.

  Another option is to begin with a “starter theme”. These are popular with developers who want to jump start work on a highly customized deliverable.

  Underscores is one example, but there are many other prospects.

  Not all WordPress.com plans support adding this kind of theme, but it is an option with the Business plan or eCommerce plan.

  If you are not interested in hosting your site on WordPress.com, I suggest creating a similar post in the WordPress.org support forums.
