General Information for selecting a service for business

    Dear Team, Hope this message finds you well.

    I have been checking the different products available at WordPress. I am interested in creating an Affiliate Website, where the clients will need to answer certain questions and according to their responses a list of available providers will be listen. The client will select the one they prefer and they will be redirected to provider page to continue with the agreement with them under a code that will trigger them as forwarded from my site in order for us to get the corresponding commission. I a looking for the best product but I am not sure if business or commerce, I just want the best for the idea.

    I work on Internet and commence but I do not have technical background however, at the beginning I would like to be able to build the site on my own and feed the contact on my own.

    Could you please advise or help?

    Hi there,

    You can do this with either Business or eCommerce – the only difference between those two plans is that eCommerce comes with the WooCommerce plugin, and a selection of free and premium add-ons for that plugin pre-installed. But installing plugins, which is what you need to use for what you want to build, is possible on either plan.

    I’m not able to advise you on which plugins you’d need to build a site like this, though. For advice on that you can ask the WordPress.org community at https://wordpress.org/support/forums/ instead, or try searching online for tutorials on how to build an affiliate site like this.
