I just set up a new domain with wordpress for $17. Does this include the hosting as well and what, if any, limitations are there in terms of using them for hosting? It’s just a basic blog, nothing crazy for now. I’m just wondering if there’s a catch or some other feature I need to pay for. Thanks.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

No catch – the hosting was free by the way – you just paid for your special name / URL. the catch? No ads, e-commerce etc.
Read the Terms of Service that you agreed to below – abide by them and no problem – good luck:

Thank you for the information. Had a couple more questions. I want to transfer another domain to wordpress. Since I’m paying for the special name do I own the domain name? The reason I ask is I want to transfer another domain and use business gmail for my 2 email accounts but I know I’ll need to prove that I own the domain.

Transferring a Domain to WordPress.com
We do not currently accept incoming domain transfers. If you already have a domain and you want to use it with your WordPress.com, follow the instructions for mapping an existing domain to your WordPress.com blog.
map an existing domain > http://support.wordpress.com/domain-mapping/map-existing-domain/Email > Domain Mapping » Setting Up Email with Google Apps > http://en.support.wordpress.com/domain-mapping/google-apps-email/
You own the domain name for as long as you keep it renewed. If you do not renew the domain name then it’s no longer yours.
