General Setting issues

  Hi. I have a newly setup blog and portfolio on a no subscription account. I have not installed custom/additional plugins. Settings under Configure will not save. I am unable to change anything on the settings page at all as I recieve an error ‘There was a problem saving your changes. Please try again.’ My website was private and I tried to switch it to public. After multiple attempts it now shows public but only after sending me an error message. I am unable to add the social media sharing buttons that a public site would allow. I only have email and print options available. I am unsure as to if my site is public or not now. I have tried on 3 different browsers and two devices.

  I need to make sure my site is public and be able to add these social media links in. What should I do?

  Please share the site address that you need help with.

  Plugins are only supported on self hosted WordPress sites. Those are different form WordPress.com hosted sites (here).
