  Hi there! I’m looking to have a general training for the version of WordPress our organization uses. I know how to do some basic things, but I would like to be able to use it to its fullest. How can I go about learning to use all of the features?

  Right now, we’re urgently trying to create a banner for an upcoming campaign. Help with that would be apprecaited as well!

  Hi there!

  First, we need to clarify if you are using WordPress.com or WordPress.org, if you can share the site you are managing we can point you in the right direction.

  There are three different “WordPress” at play :

  1. WordPress software. The free, open-source which powers your website.
  2. WordPress.org. An open-source project that works on the WordPress software and where you can get the software for free to use on your own hosting provider.
  3. WordPress.com which is a managed hosting provider of the WordPress software.

  The forum you are using right now is for WordPress.com which is quite different from WordPress.org, you can read about the differences here:

  For WordPress.com you can find a lot of educational resources like the following:

  Not to worry, it is a very common misconception.

  Your site azcend.org is using the open-source version from WordPress.org, and it is hosted by GoDaddy.
  The main source of educational content would be here: https://learn.wordpress.org/
  There you will find Workshops, webinars and courses.
