general viewing

I am really new to this so apologies if I am asking a dumb question. I have set the blog up but when I go in (not as the admin person) I don’t see the photo images and the heading is mixed up with the text until I click on the posted date to the right. Surely it should appear with the images etc upon opening it. Also there is a link called A new blog which is a page I created right at the beginning but if I click on that now its a broken link. I want to delete that page but I cannot find the way of doing it. Any help would be really great. Thanks

Hello, many thanks for your quick reply. I have opened the blog again as a visitor and I am faced with a page that has no images and the heading ‘back from the Summer holiday’ is on the same line as the sentence starting ‘we are all back etc. I have to click on the link Monday 7 sept and then it loads properly. At the end of the images between the Twitter links and the leave a reply box is the link that says A new blog and this is a broken link. Perhaps it’s just me being unsure of what I’m doing. Thanks for your help, it’s much appreciated

Ok, I see what you’re saying!
The Home page is what you’re seeing initially. This page will show either a summary OR the full text of each blog entry. It sounds like you want the full entry to display on the Home Page.
Please go to Settings > Reading and change the option “For each article in a feed, show:” to “Full Text”.

Hello, I have found the New Blog post. It was a draft and I have now deleted it. As for the other problem it was already set to full text so it remains a mystery and it is still coming up with that problem so really annoying but you have been really helpful so my thanks to you.
