General WordPress.Com/Post not working. Only Dashboard

I am using chromebook and when I click “new post” on one of my blogs it is going to wordpress.com/post instead of the typical dashboard posting tool. When I click Publish, it just sits there forever and never publishes. From Dashboard it works but it is not easy to find the link that still takes you to dashboard. It seems something has changed.

You’re completely right. We’ve updated some of the links to direct to our new editor. You can still access the old editor directly through your dashboard. And we’ve just added an easy way to access to the old editor directly from the new one. I hope this helps make things a little easier for you.
I’d love to fix the issue you’re having with the new editor. You say you’re on a Chromebook, can I just confirm that you’re running the latest version of Chrome?

Hello Thank you for your reply.
I checked my Chromebook (it’s not my regular computer) and it says it is running 36.0.1985.138
Though a google search seemed to indicate chromebook should update itself automatically, it apparently is not doing that because after I figured out where to find the current OS, I clicked check for update and it updated to version 36.0.1985.143 I guess it wasn’t running the latest OS.
The Firmware, after the update, did not change. It is still showing firmware as Google_Peppy_4389.86.0

I just made a test post and it seems to be working for both immediate posts and scheduled posts. I will let you know if I run into any more problems. Thank you.
