Generated widget code not displaying

I’m trying to add a generated widget html code onto a ‘text’ widget on my blog.

I’ve been given the following code:

However when I add it only the text appears. I’ve also tried putting the html either side of the code but it makes no difference.

Apologies if this a basic issue - I have very little experience with html.
