Generating a Certificate Signing Request for external domain name provider
-
I need my Certificate Signing Request from WordPress to activate my SSL. However, WordPress seems to have no app or command line allowing me to generate the CSR for my site. I contacted my domain name provider support (name.com), and since I am using wordpress.com hosting, I need to generate a CSR code through wordpress.com, which makes sense. How can I get my CSR from WordPress to finally point my domain name to WordPress nameservers and start building my business site?

Are you sure your site is hosted here at WordPress.com? You only created this WordPress.com account an hour before posting this. Have you perhaps paid Name to host a site there (built with wordpress software)?
Domain:reddingtondapp.com
Registrar:Name.com, Inc.
Name Servers:
ns1kpv.name.com
ns2fjz.name.comIf you want to build a business site here at WordPress.com then with a paid plan (perhaps Business or eCommerce) you can map your Name domain to a site here and SSL and a padlock will be included along with numerous other features.
