Generating Errors When Exporting WordPress Blog to SquareSpace

  I’ve attempted at least five times to export my WordPress Blog onto Squarespace. I can download the export file just fine, but when I try to upload it onto Squarespace (both by having the sites link up automatically and by downloading then uploading an xml file) I’ve generated the following errors:

  I’ve contacted the SquareSpace help team, and they recommended that I reach out to the WordPress team to determine if there’s a setting wrong on my export to make the file ready for Square space.

  Hello there,

  Your export file seems to be fine. Squarespace will have to look at it to determine if it needs to be formatted another way for import onto their server.

  I don’t want to send you running back and forth, however. I know it can be frustrating to be batted back and forth between support sites. I’ll run another complete export for you of your site. Keep an eye out in your email. I will send that export to you. This way, you will know that everything worked properly on our end, and then move the issue to Squarespace support, if need be.
