Generating Revenue from My Site

If I were to upgrade to Premium, how do I generate revenue? Can I generate revenue through hits? Can I generate revenue from the images that I upload? Will WordPress help me with advertising?

We do have an advertising program called WordAds, which you can read more about here:
If you purchase our premium subscription you will be automatically accepted into WordAds.
If you decide to go that route, once you have paid for Premium go to WordPress.com/plans/my-plan
Scroll down to the bottom, there will be a button labeled Start Earning, click on that to join WordAds.
Fill out your info and you will be all set.Advertising outside of WordAds at WordPress.com is not allowed. For full details, please see:

If you require other advertising, you might be interested in a self-hosted (WordPress.org) installation. There are no restrictions on advertising if you setup a self-hosted WordPress.org blog instead of a WordPress.com blog, but there are some added responsibilities. Hi.. My wordads revenue for the month of feb 2017 and march 2017 is still not visible. Any reasons for the delay ?

WordAds earnings are released 30 to 45 days after the end of the month. February earnings were posted two days ago, but we’re only 7 days from the end of March so it’s still several weeks before March earnings will be available.
