“Generic cialis” in my site??
-
Hi,
I don’t know how but somehow there is a “generic cialis” link in the top left in every page of my WordPress site.
The site is http://www.architecture-ranking.com
I never put that there, how could it have a appeared and how can I remove it?
Many thanks,
Pedro

You did not specify a blog address or reason for posting when you created this topic.
This support forum is for WordPress.com hosted blogs only. If you have a self-hosted WordPress blog you need to seek help at the WordPress.org forums, not here.
If you don’t understand the difference, you may find this information helpful.

What Sam says is correct – you’re on the wrong forum, please head over to WordPress.org.
The link was probably hidden in your theme, which contains some vile and nasty code. Unfortunately there are many malicious WordPress theme sites around that hide things like this in their themes.

Just FYI, ismyblogworking.com includes a check for this and other similar hidden links:

@justjennifer, it says your blog is now loading fast now. Whatever was slowing it down has presumably passed. (a slow figure doesn’t always mean your blog is slow, it could be imbw that’s slow. so take a one-off result with a grain of salt).

@tsp, I made it – mostly to help answer common questions here. Let me know if you think of something new it should check.

Thanks tellyworth. Not to worry, I’m not so neurotic that I’d be pinging that site every few minutes to see how fast/slow my site is loading. :)

For checking how slow your site is or what slows your site down, http://tools.pingdom.com is a better tool. But it doest’t show the hidden links. Firebug is still the ulitmate tool for checking your website, although here too no hidden links are shown. Tellyworth’s tool is a very nice addition, and gives you most of your basic site info in one go, and the hidden links is particularly useful. Very good job.
