Genesis Author Pro child theme Static Front Page stuck
-
I am using the Genesis theme with Author Pro as the child theme and I have created a static front page, but the page now seems to be completely stuck, no matter what changes I make in terms of formatting in the page itself or if I try to change the front page to one of the other pages on the site. I have deleted the page I originally designated as the front page, created another page with the newly desired formatting, and have selected this new page as the static front page, but it insists on calling up the same old page that (as far as I can tell) no longer even exists in wordpress.
I have cleared the cache on my browser, done a full refresh numerous times, and deactivated all plugins and reactivated them one by one to see if any are causing an issue.
Does anyone have any idea why the page is stuck like it is?
Thanks!

Hi there! I see this page when I look: https://cloudup.com/csLofdT5Cr1 (Not sure if that’s the old page or a newer one, but thought I’d share a screenshot in case it helps you figure out what’s going on.)
However, this forum is for sites hosted on WordPress.com, so answers found here often won’t apply to a self-hosted WordPress site like yours.(Also, we don’t have the theme you’re using here to look at/test on, so wouldn’t be the best at finding solutions for it.)
I believe there is support offered specifically for Genesis/themes if you login here to access it: https://my.studiopress.com/help/
For other questions (like on WordPress in general or other aspects of your site), the documentation & forums on WordPress.org are a great resource. :)
