Geocities/ WordPress ftp Help!!!!!

This is my Problem
I have a site made with geocities Pro which include a .com, now i want to transfer that .com domain to my wordpress blog.
I used domian maping in wordpress and now when i type my .com my wordpress page comes up.
The problem is that I want to upload new and different themes to my wordpress account so that I can change the look. When i try to ftp the .com host I am getting my old yahoo geocities info. and not accessing my wordpress account.
My question is
1. Is there a way to upload new themes to my wordpress blog.
2. Is there any way to configure my dns or host so that my ftp client accesses my wordpress account.
3. Or is there a way to get a premium wordpress account where i can upload themes and get the correct ftp host info.Please let me know what would be the best option or what would work.

There are certain restrictions at WordPress.com:
You cannot use FTP. You cannot upload themes.
You can learn CSS, purchase the paid CSS upgrade and use that to change the look of your blog, but that’s it. Do NOT purchase the upgrade until you’ve tested the changes you want to make in the free preview and confirmed that they work. It’s not like uploading a new theme; it’s more like translating a book.
