Geographical restrictions

    Hello,

I have a Wix site, and display my WordPress blog on it. However, I have to import the posts there manually. When I’ve done so before there has been no problem. However, trying to import posts today, I’m running into a problem with Geographical restrictions. This is the first time this has happened. Wix’s Help section is suggesting that I contact WordPress directly about this.

    So…

How can I turn off the Geographical restrictions on my blog so that I can import new posts to Wix?

I look forward to your reply,

    Scott Harper

  • Hi! On WordPress.com we don’t have any such restrictions – this sounds like it’s related to something else.

Were you importing from the free site http://scottharpersblog.wordpress.com/ which is associated with your WordPress.com account, and was this via the export tool linked below?
    https://wordpress.com/support/export/

Normally if you use the standard export to get an XML file, that should not show any error messages when importing!
