  Are there any plans to add widgets that will make use of the Location geotag in posts? Thanks :)

  Thanks timethief, those are the steps I followed to add a geotag. I am requesting a widget (like a map widget) to make use of the geotag embedded in my posts. Cheers :)

  I actually have the same question : I would like to get a widget diplayinng the location of the post. Is it available?

  This section of the forum is titled “Ideas” with the tagline “Ideas, Suggestions, and Conversations about blogging on WordPress.com”. I starting to get the impression that the suggestions being made in the “Ideas” forum are being closed without being carried forward to the Developers at WordPress? I am hoping my impression is incorrect!

  I ave been here for over 8 years. Staff do check these threads. However, I notice that very few of the suggestions are implemented. I expect expansion of geotagging will be a future implementation.
