    I am unemployed I can not pay £84.00 in one hit is this a con because you say it is free
    then it better be free.
    I am not happy that you try and take people benefits.
    Also you say you pay £7.00 a month but you can’t .?

    There are four types of pricing on WordPress.com – Free, Personal, Premium and Business. So there is indeed a free plan that allows you to build your site on WordPress.com without paying a single cent.

    If you chose to use a custom domain (e.g. conlong54.com) when you create a site instead of the free domain (e.g. conlong54.wordpress.com), you are required to have a paid plan to do that.

    And please take note that WordPress.com’s paid plans are all charged annually so there’s no monthly payment available at the moment.

    Hi,

    WordPress.com offers a free website plan.
    You can select the free plan in step 2 of the sign up process. The domain of your website on the free plan will include your username.wordpress.com (for example: conlong54.wordpress.com).
    You are able to choose different themes and customise your site with the free plan.

    If you choose to use a custom domain for your website, you will need to upgrade. All plans are billed annually or every two years.
