Get back expired domain name

    Hi,

    My domain name (littlebigexplorations.com) has expired since march, and I’d like to renew/rebuy it.

    It does not appear in the Upgrades -> Domains panel.
    According to the documentation (https://wordpress.com/support/domains/domain-expiration/), it might be in Redemption Period, but as it does not show up in my panel, I can’t renew it myself.

    What am I supposed to do now to get it back ?

    Hi there:

    The domain is not in redemption but cancelled at the registry and is not recoverable by us at this time.

    I did a quick search for the domain over at GoDaddy and it does not appear to be available for repurchase at this time.

    We have no way to know when the domain would be available for purchase again, so you’ll need to keep checking to see when it becomes available. There are websites out there that can help you monitor that status, but it’s not a guarantee that you would get the domain before someone else.

    Or, since GoDaddy is the temporary registrar on record (as Wild West Domains), you can try and contact them directly to see if they have any options for you.
