Hello at WordPress,
I used to have the site https://dishwatertrenches.wordpress.com/ and I can’t log into it or seem to get the site back. All my content is gone as well. I would like to get this site back, even if the content is gone.

The authors have deleted this site.If you deleted it less than 30 days ago staff can recover it. If you deleted it more than 30 days ago it is gone forever.

I’m afraid the site was deleted more than 30 days ago and has already been purged.
It’s not possible for us to restore your site or address. -
Did WordPress delete my site or was it hacked or something? I didn’t delete it. I just hadn’t used it for awhile.

Our logs show that the owner of that site deleted it. There’s no indication of someone breaching into that account though.

That’s annoying. So even though I was using that address before, I can’t get it back again? There’s no way to reactivate it? Sorry to ask again. I just want to make sure I understand clearly.

That’s correct. Once a site is deleted that site URL is retired and can never be used again.

Deleting a site is a 5-step process which can include receiving a confirmation email (which requires a response) or manually typing the site’s URL into a confirmation box; we want to make absolutely sure that this is what the site owner wants to do before a site is deleted.

Okay. I’m positive I never did that. But since it’s gone, I guess there’s nothing I can do about it. Thanks for all your time and help.
