Get blog taken down permanently?

I am currently on the E-Board of a club at my university. A WordPress blog for this club was created long before my time, so I do not have access to any of the proof of ownership information.
The blog does not represent the professional face of the club today and it is damaging to the brand; This is why I ask that it be taken down.
How can I get the blog taken down permanently?

What is the exact URL starting with http:// of the site you refer to please?
