    That domain is now in the redemption period. There are additional costs that have to be paid to the registrar at this stage. You will need to agree to the charge as well as the renewal fee for WordPress.com staff to request recovery of the domain. I have added the modlook tag to ask if a member of staff can assist you.

    Hi there,

    That domain has already been removed from our system and is currently in redemption with our registrar. It is still possible for me to recover the domain at this point, but our registrar charges a $80 fee to restore a domain from redemption. Let me know if you agree to that fee and I can get the recovery process started.

    The renewal of the domain is covered by the Personal Plan you bought over the weekend, so you’ll only need to pay the redemption fee in this case, provided you keep the plan.
