get each image to centralize
-
I know I can make each image I upload into a post central. But is there a setting I can use so that each image automatically appears in its most central position without me making it so every time? Thanks, Pamela

Howdy –
I am happy to take a closer look at this for you. When viewing https://pmnewport582797662.wordpress.com/2019/07/08/kayaking-day-three-8kms/ I can see there are multiple images in that post. Is the question about centering the post left/right or top/bottom ? Tell me what steps you’ve been taking in detail and I can try to provide something simpler.

Centering left to right. I can do each image separately but keep forgetting and having to edit. Thought there may be a setting whereby all images will centre themselves left to right.
Cheers

Hi there,
There is no setting for the new editor to have a default alignment. However, If you’re using WP-Admin, that editor remembers the last setting you used when inserting an image. Therefore, with the next image you insert, use the Add Media button to insert it instead of dragging it into the editor. After uploading the image, set the alignment you want in the sidebar on the right, and only then click Insert. From there, all images uploaded should have the default alignment that you set.
Hope that helps.
