get error 404 off website

  I don’t know how to get the Error 404 (page cannot be found) message off my homepage.

  That’s because you don’t have any published posts yet.

  Once you publish a post, there error will go away.

  Alternatively, you can assign another page as your front page following this guide: http://en.support.wordpress.com/pages/front-page/

  I created another page titled “home”. My original home page sill reads,
  “not found, Apologies, but no results were found for the requested archive. Perhaps searching will help find a related post.”

  I do not intend on posting any postings; only pages.

  You still haven’t assigned it as your new front page via Settings -> Reading as detailed in the guide at http://en.support.wordpress.com/pages/front-page/
