Get Gallery Captions to Stop Appearing on top of Images

    Hello,

I run a blog website at sammysworld.org, and as of today am having a problem with gallery captions. If you visit the homepage, you will see that the captions to the gallery blocks are appearing directly on top of the images (which I do not want), whereas if you go to, per se, the music section, the gallery captions still appear beneath. What is going on with the homepage?

It feels like as of today, everything with my captions suddenly changed. Even in the places where they are the way I’d like them to be, when you scroll, they overlap my header. This is incredibly frustrating, as it was working fine just yesterday, and something that seems like an easy fix is taking me hours to figure out. Any help is appreciated.

    Hi there,

Your website sammysworld.org is not hosted at WordPress.com, instead it is using the self-hosted version WordPress.org, hosted at Bluehost.

WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two different entities: https://wordpress.com/support/com-vs-org/

From my end, the gallery captions on the homepage show beneath the images, just like the ones in the music page.

Try clearing your browser’s cache or using a different browser, you can find WordPress.org’s support forum here: https://wordpress.org/support/theme/twentytwenty/
