Get image/media using a URL (Google Docs/OneDrive)

  Hi!
  I was wondering if there is a way I can use image URLs from Google Drive, OneDrive, or other cloud services to my media instead of uploading them to WordPress as it is double work for me.
  Thank you :)

  Do note however, that only images uploaded to WordPress.com can be used as a Featured image or used in an image Gallery

  You’re welcome.

  You should also be aware that WPcom uses Photon to cache any such image file for faster loading and there is no way to turn it off here.
